During a brief holiday in Sweden Degna had a first contact with the interesting and beautiful stud dog Thilwil's Lando.

After an initial cautious sniffing, they both quickly liked each other and played nicely together. So we are now waiting for Degna's next heat and if all goes well, we will have a box full of puppies in December. In this mating, some of the puppies will certainly be black, but all three colours are to be expected.

 

 

Degna had taken her time with the heat. On November 17th and 18th, however, we finally visited Lando. Degna was certainly very enthusiastic and tried hard to seduce him. He gladly accepted the offer, but somehow did not manage the right technique. After many attempts on two afternoons, which were exhausting for both of them, Degna just had enough and I didn't want to force her. Especially since we still had a long journey back ahead of us. So we just have to postpone the project until next summer and in the meantime look for other grooms.
