Ciccia is a special dog. Not only because she is my first Hovawart, but because she has a very pronounced character with a lot of self-confidence and can probably express all the qualities said of the Hovawart - positive or negative. As friendly and approachable as she is to anyone who seems sympathetic to her, she will tell everyone who looks suspicious to her to better get lost. Other dogs are welcome, but they first have to listen to her explaining the rules of the game. Anyone who approaches aggressively is either demonstratively ignored or snarled at in a frightening manner. But there is no biting!
